8 weeks as of today! Lil' T is due June 8th. Good timing for an educator. I am such a planner:)
We have decided that the name is changed from Lil' T to Lil' Stomach Ache. I am SICK all day and all night. I have lost my ability to function in society because I am constantly sick. I have tried it all....crackers in bed, sprite, 7up, pasta, cereal only, eating cheese before I go to bed, popsicles, eating small meals, potatoes, mac and cheese, double checked my ultrasound for twins, bawled like a six year old...you name the remedy I have tried it and NOTHING WORKS. The doctor currently has me on two different meds and neither one is working. Thanks to everyone that has tried to help but I am giving up. I am living with the fact that my child already hates me. He or she might as well come out as a rebellious teenager.
Can I brag on my husband for a minute? Greg has been a saint (like always). The poor guy is totally supportive. He holds my hand when I puke and he can't stand it when anyone gets sick including himself so it's a real feat for him to be in the same room. Every 30 minutes I think of something that "might" help my stomach and he runs to the grocery store for me because I can't even look at the sign Town and Country without wanting to hurl up my saltines. He's helping me catch up on my reading...due to being sick throughout the night I am tired after school so I can hardly keep my eyes open to read the 200 pregnancy books Jill has sent me (thanks) and I am freaking out because I am 8 weeks behind! So Greg has been reading up on information and filling Lil' Stomach Ache and me in. When I came home from parent teacher conferences last week he had the house vacuumed among other things! Then on Saturday he cleaned the BATHROOMS!! THEN he bought me a new robe because the hot flashes are overwhelming and my current house robe is too warm. Could I ask for more? What a man. Greg already makes an awesome husband and is going to make a fabulous father!
Thanks to all the family members and neighbors that have fed him! For a man that can't live without 3 or more meals a day you are keeping him alive. Otherwise he would be eating bowls of cereal and PB & J. It means so much and I hope I can repay you someday.
I know all this sickness will pass and is minimal to what some of my dear friends have gone through to even attempt to get pregnant. I know that we are blessed to just be able to conceive a child. We so EXCITED and cannot wait to meet our baby! We are just praying our child is healthy and happy. I go back to the doctor next week to check up on a few things...nothing serious just making sure I am over an infection or it could become serious....please pray it is over. Then I go back on the 21st of Nov. for my regular check up. I am planning to keep updates and will be better able to once things calm down.
Take care!

How exciting! Not about the sickness, but about baby in general. Make it through the first trimester and it should get better! That is the extent of my book knowledge! As for the first hand experience, I haven't had that yet so I will be turning to you if and when that happens! Keep us informed on how things go as you are able. I didn't look at older posts, but did you post the ultrasound pics? Can you? Would love to see my next little niece or nephew! Well, take care and if there is anything I can do from 200 miles away, let me know! MEL
Sorry you are sick!! I know that is miserable. Hopefully it will pass soon. Thumbs up to Greg!! Keep me updated. By the way, my birthday is June 2!
That sucks, Kat-dog! I hate to hear you are so sick and this kind of news does no good for talking me into pregnancy! :) I hope it gets better soon! Who knows, maybe you'll get something in the mail to cheer you up... miss ya!
