Golfing…
Our nightly ritual this summer has been dinner (usually grilling something) and then golfing.  After we eat dinner we hop on the golf cart and ride to the country club to look for turtles, snakes, and frogs in the ponds.  Then we play a few holes of golf with John Parker.  Every time we get out to hit, John Parker gets his club, a ball, and tee.  I am pretty sure he got the idea to tee up the ball every time from his Pop.
On this night we went with Gigi and Papa.  John Parker loves to “hit hit” the ball and every time someone takes a practice shot he screams “miss miss” sooo needless to say he screams at me a lot!Dad cut an old putter down to his size but it is currently in storage because he has become a danger to others when holding his club.  He becomes extremely violent towards the ball if he misses it.  It reminds me a lot of his father playing golf.  When he does make contact with the ball he does really well!  We are planning for you to go on the PGA tour, John Parker.  Mommy and daddy would really like a beach house!  The last two pics are from practicing in the yard.

Bugs…
Another summer activity has been catching bugs…preferably (for me) lightning bugs.  This is John Parker’s first experience with lightning bugs that he caught with daddy.  Seconds after this shot…he dropped the jar and cracked it.  I released the deaf bugs back into nature knowing they had already been through enough that night.  They were lucky to be alive! The pic of Greg and JP under the table is because John Parker turned the lights off and crawled under the table so his bugs would light up! too funny!!!

Shed…
The historical society finally let us knock the shed down.  Hee hee. This shed has been a thorn in my marriage since the day we moved in this house.  Well finally Greg gave up on hanging keeping this to house his golf cart and 1965 lawn mower.  Thankfully some men were cutting down trees SO I thought it would be a good idea to cut down the shed too.  So now we have a big, empty, and rocky space in our back yard.  I thoroughly enjoy that part of our yard now!
