3 weeks

Here are the many faces of our baby! We're a little partial but we think he's awesome;) We are pretty sure he is annoyed by us & wonders why he got stuck with us (explains the expressions on his face) but we are having a blast being his parents!!!

He's doing great. Already wearing a size 1 diaper! At our last doctor's appointment he weighed 8 pounds and 4 oz. and was 20 1/2 inches long. We have hope he is going to be tall. I've already had the mother meltdown because my son is growing up too fast!!! So far he HATES his baby bed, swing, sleeping, riding in a car, and laying on his back. He loves his momma, dad, and G (aka gi gi), milk, stretching, his little lamb seat (ok for like 5 minutes), laying on his stomach, to kick me while I feed him, scream when he's hungry (like his dad), and raise his leg when he passes gas (like his dad). He is able to somewhat hold his head up (so strong already), likes to cling on to the bottle when we feed him, and look around (I am aware that infants are unable to see like adults but he's looking at something). He had his first encounter with Caroline and the dog and we won't go into detail now but let's just say it's over so and no one is hurt.

Below is proof that he LOVES to sleep on his stomach...which for all you non parental people (which was me just 3 weeks ago and most days right now) is a big no no in the baby sleeping world. This was one of the first naps he took that day! I checked him a million times to make sure he was still breathing. Not sure if this habit will ever be broken.

According to my mom we all slept on our stomach and are fine....I quote!!! I'm sure in a few years it will be that they are not supposed to sleep on their back.

OOOOOOO!! I can't wait to meet Mr. John Parker!! For the record, I check your blog in 15 minute intervals so that I don't miss a thang. So in between being a new mom, feeding him, stopping him from crying, changing him, playing dress up with him (I know you have), watching him sleep, and loving him to death, please post more or teach Greg to. hahhaha. love and miss you guys!!
